2010 AGM Season

The 2010 AGM season is in full swing.


Watsonian Squash Club members will all be making plans to be our AGM on Thursday 17th June 2010 at 7:30pm in the Hastings Room at Myreside. I received my invitation yesterday and am looking forward to it lots.


The East of Scotland Squash Association AGM is on Tuesday 22nd June 2010 at 7:30pm at Grange. There's a bit of information about it here - http://www.essasquash.co.uk/

Obviously I'm looking forward to this one too.


I've not heard when either the Scottish Squash is this year. My invitation to the World Squash Federation hasn't arrived yet.

Not a huge amount of controversy at the Watsonian Squash AGM the other evening. And only one glass of wine was consumed .

We still need to be doing more to develop the link between the school and the club, or any youngsters and the club. Any volunteers to do anything towards this are most welcome .......

Gerry Clark retired after 30 or so years of being on the committee. Thanks for his considerable efforts were noted.

Other long-standing committee members would be willing to stand aside if anyone else would like to help out.

Obviously if anyone is willing to help in any way, shape or form with anything that the club currently does or should be doing, then please volunteer .................

Even if you don't want to be on the committee, please just say that you'll do something ...............

Not a lot to announce having been at the East's AGM, other than more than one glass of beer was drunk. Not even a vote on Scottish Squash to liven things up.


The Scottish Squash is being held at a football club in Perth again. It's on a Monday in July. There will be something about a new fee structure and something about racketball, which is coming to a club near you soon .................
