You might have trouble finding "Lothian Leagues/AGM", unless you have a Dr Who Time Warp machine to go back to the 80's. No wonder your missus is suspicious every time you say you're off to a Lothian League committee meeting
The ESSA AGM might more suitably debate such a proposal, the Committee Secretary is the relevant committee member for proposals, not the League Secretary.
Will the proposal be sophisticated enough to recognise that the top open leagues could find one recognised scoring method suitable, the bottom leagues another and the ladies leagues yet another? The WSF recognised scoring methods being HiHo9, PAR-11 and PAR-15. More complex than
letting the 2 players decide, as at present, with HiHo9 being the default. Maybe it would be easier to educate people that they have a choice
