If You Know Your History...

The Watsonian Squash Rackets Club was founded by Jimmie Allan and David Bogle on 7th May 1936, and since then, squash has been enjoyed by its members at Myreside despite several interuptions, including a war, a fire, Covid and Racc in the ceiling.

The Founding Fathers....

After the club was formed on 7th May 1934, funds were raised to build 2 squash courts next the pavilion at Myreside and these were opened on 18th February 1935.

The 1978 Extension

With the boom of squash in the 1970's, two new courts were built at Myreside and were opened in the Autumn of 1980.

2023 Refurbishment

Following a fire within the main clubhouse area, the club was closed for a period of time. During that time we planned amajor refurbishment of the original courts.
